We begin with a time of shared worship before meeting in age groups during morning service:
Sparkles - a creche for the very young
All Stars - for 3 to 6 year olds
Planets - for 6 to 9 year olds
Galaxies - for 9+.
Sessions are Bible based with craft, music, dance, drama, discussion and prayer.
The children and young people are a valued part of the church family. They join the congregation near the end of each morning service to share their experiences. They participate in worship by contributing music, drama and art - especially during festivals.
Numbers are increasing all the time, usually between 15 and 20. We are thrilled to welcome so many young families and look forward to expanding the C.O.S.M.O.S. further!
Morning services start at 10.30 each Sunday with a Family Service generally held every 4th Sunday in the month (the children stay in the main Church during family services).
HELP! We are able to expand as new people have volunteered to join our Children’s Ministry Team and staffing is almost there! We still need one more volunteer so we can run the rota most effectively. It would be fantastic if a man could help as we feel the children would benefit from a balance. Please prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to serve in this area. We look forward to lots more drama and music contributions from C.O.S.M.O.S. in Family Services.
